What are the rules for using bus lanes while cycling?

Cyclists are generally allowed to use most bus lanes, as indicated by road signs. Be cautious around buses, especially when people are getting on or off. Exercise extreme care when overtaking a bus or exiting a bus lane, as you will be merging into busier traffic. Never pass between the curb and a bus at a stop to ensure your safety and the safety of passengers.
