What are the rules for cycling on shared-use paths?

On shared-use paths, cyclists should give way to pedestrians and wheelchair users, slow down, and be prepared to stop if necessary. Always be considerate and ensure that your presence is known by using a bell or calling out politely. Highway Code Rule 62.
